Talk about Oxymorons
Or just a Moron.
Man who claims to be in the “Fitness” industry is on:
1). Anabolic Steroids
2). Yohimbine
3). Thyroxine-like hormones
4). Sugary Energy Drinks
5). Cocaine
Sorry, your actions are directly contradictory to your self-description.

So.. was the Yohimbine to counteract the effects of the steroids? Inquiring minds, yadda.

So, I use Yohimbine all the time in large animal medicine since we use xylazine frequently but WTF does one use it for in humans if the human is not on an alpha2…I mean, you guys have dexmedetomidine like we do in SA med so I’m assuming you can use atipamezole to reverse (like we do) if needed so why would one need yohimbine unless you’re having some sort of emergent need and can’t get atipamezole? I didn’t take human pharm and don’t generally have to worry about my patients being on cocaine or anabolic steroids unless we rx them (although cocaine was apparently quite useful in some vet. surgical situations before it became such a scourge and we do get the occasional “the dingo ate mah brownies” case being a state with MMP cards)
Sorry for the novel but am LOVING your blog, referred here by VBB and working PRN in an animal ER I can sadly say I’ve said some of the same things to owners of patients, and I constantly remind my VAs that “it’s not Fluffy’s fault Mr O is a D-bag”

It’s me again Margret…hit the anaesthesia textbook and reviewed the Alpha2s and now I’m embarrassed. Also, who knew that their antagonists can be used to treat ED? We don’t generally have that problem in our patients lol.
