Four-Fer?!?
This from a twitter-follower @em_ilicious.
All ER staff dread “two-fers” – when two pts, usually two children with the same chief complaint are placed in the same room. It sucks because whoever pics up one chart, has to see the other one too. Painful.
Well, here’s the even more epically painful. The “Four-Fer”!!!

I’m a med student and on my pediatrics rotation I spent a week in the local community health clinic. We regularly had two, three and four-fers. That gets really hard to keep straight to present to the attending…

Emerg Doc in Canada here, fee for service payment system. I love the 2-fer it’s the easiest money I make. My greatest was a 7-fer, 7 people in a van had a trivial MVA and although they all told me they had no injuries they wanted to be checked out. They all checked out chequed out and I bought a round of pizza for the dept with the winnings!
